Les Granges Lestang
Two stylish & comfortable gîtes in the Dordogne

ABOUT LES GRANGES LESTANG
Les Granges Lestang is a small cluster of three converted farm buildings in the Southern Dordogne, France. They have been renovated with character and with your comfort in mind, creating a beautiful three star summer holiday location. Our large four-bedroom gîte sits at the front of our half-acre garden, with the smaller one bed gîte to the side. They are completely independent of each other with their own front doors and parking areas. There is a shared salt water swimming pool, fenced for security as is the whole of the garden, providing a safe environment for families with young children. My husband Tony and I live in the third property. As far as we are concerned, our property is your own holiday home for the duration of your stay and we would love you to make use of all facilities.

OUR GÎTES
Our large gîte, La Vieille Grange (The Old Barn) sleeps up to 8 adults. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 with king size beds, 1 with a king size bed, a single bed and cot and a mezzanine bedroom with 2 double beds. The rear of the property opens onto the garden with access to the shared swimming pool. For parties of 10 people you can also book our one bed gîte which sleeps a further 2 people.
The gîte is 3 star rated with Gîtes de France.
Our smaller gîte, La Petite Grange (The Small Barn) sleeps 2 people and can be booked individually or in conjunction with the larger gîte. It has 1 bedroom with en suite bathroom plus a large open plan lounge/kitchen/dining space. The front of the house opens directly onto the garden with access to the shared swimming pool.
The gîte is 3 star rated with Gîtes de France.

THINGS TO DO
The Périgord is blessed with a thousand and one castles, heritage sites and historical monuments.
There are many Bastide towns to visit with night markets during the warm summer months that provide music and open air dining. These very popular markets have stalls full of local produce, home-made gifts, wines and local crafts.
The beautiful Dordogne river, 483km long, provides swimming, pedal boating and kayaking. There are local lakes for swimming and pic-nics. The Pays de Bergerac has extensive forests and numerous trekking trails to be enjoyed on foot, horseback or bike.
Visit local vineyards and discover their wines; Monbazillac, Bergerac, Ste Emilion and many more.
There really is something for all the family and, with many local tourist offices in the region, you’ll find yourself wanting to extend your visit to this beautiful part of south west france.
